wow

i never knew that people even knew that this existed, even though i write some posts with this name. thanks megan :) anyway- things have been crazy lately. i can't believe that so many things can happen in one month. one of the bigger things that has happened is that we have tried to evict our renter, but she finally pulled through and paid all of july and august (last week) and she has to pay september by monday, and then we'll have to evict her for real, and there will be no buts this time. it is quite unfortunate b/c she is SO nice, but she also has a tendency to lie and sort of distort the truth. coming from a fairly truth giving lifestyle, it is hard to come down on someone who seems nice and you really want to give the benefit of the doubt and believe that she is not lying. we'll figure it out step by step i guess.

oddly enough- we are having some serious deadlines at work, and i have nothing to do. we all came in on the weekend, but i was able to finish a bunch of things, and didn't have to come back for sunday- which was great b/c for about a month now the husband had a golf outing set up with the boss and his wife. needless to say- i am not a golfer, and i totally stunk. we played a scramble, and we used NONE of my shots. everyone plays golf on a very consistent basis, but me. i hit a tree, and it bounced back on the ground 10 feet in front of me. when i went to the restroom at the restaurant, the boss's wife told my husband that she thought that it looked like i had a good time (which was true) but she needed verification from the husband b/c i did so poorly. ha ha. oh well- it's my own fault that i have no skill. i sleep in when the husband goes to the driving range and read books when he practices chipping and putting. maybe once my blister heals on my thumb i'll head back to the range and improve my shots. maybe.

work is still good even though this weekend they were slave-drivers. you can hardly call it slave driving, though. i love working here. i tell people that it's like i play a video game all day. i don't play video games, but i definitely do cool things, though. graphic design rocks!

i got the husband to watch ice princess with me last night (in exchange for my embarrassment earlier during golfing, i assume)... not the best movie that was made. cute, but the cinematography was so-so and not consistent. consistency is key people, key.

okay- i'm out... i will write again before a month has passed, i promise- but not till i get back from PHILLY visited the sister, bro-in-law and *nephew!*
