weddings

i thought that Christmas was when people got engaged. three couples got engaged this weekend... and in order of dating the longest to least!

1. 10 yrs dating: my brother in law's sister is engaged! she hasn't set the date yet- but it may be next fall... but maybe not. we are all happy that friday was a great day for them! yay!
2. 5 years dating: my husband's twin and my friend are finally tying the knot! definitely a long awaited engagment that happened saturday night! (we didn't know about it till after we got home from harry potter that night at 12!)... they should be getting hitched in a mere 5 months, in april... lovely
3. 2 1/2 years dating (i think?): beth manzi and ben are engaged as well! yay! sounds like the ring is huuuuge (yay beth) and it sounds like it will be a 6 month engagement with it being in may! (perfect timing, ben!)

and i'm still married. 2 points for everyone. i am always shocked at how many people struggle in their married lives. look at *in good company* they didn't even make it past 7 months. talk about not being excited about watching THAT movie when i was hittin' the 7 month mark with my hubby. not. excited. no. but hey- we're almost to a year and 7 months now (two months shy).

and. i should have the pictures out to the people who were *in* the wedding this week. now that it's public, and one person who reads this thing will be getting a set -- it will make me actually send them out b/c i have had them ready for ummm... about a year. yeah--- being married hasn't helped me in the way of productivity (sp?)
