we're back!

we've been gone on a trip since thursday. and i have to admit, i forgot my camera. how disappointing since we went up north. our trip took us to grand rapids, grand haven, to charlevoix. we got to see some beautiful trees, lakes, and friends! our friends, sheri and lance let us stay with them. we hadn't seen them in several months, and so it was a great time to see their place for the first time. ... before they move in a few weeks. their beautiful daughter is so much fun and strong! i think that she will be crawling before they know it, and then walking, too! she's only about 6 months. a fun gal.

after 5 days, i'm very thankful to be home and i think owen is happy to not be playing with girly toys. not that he really knows the difference, but he's never been a stuffed animal dude. actually, lately i have been worried that he may be a biter. he's bitten me twice. not sure what i think about it, but it's definitely NOT good. we'll get it, though, i'm sure. i am thinking it's one part teething, and one part not knowing it's *bad* when it's not toys. i'm actually not a fan of him biting anything, but that's why we're taking the toddler class. i gotta learn! praise God we meet again today!

leaving you with another photo, wish it was from this weekend, but it's not.

a picture of owen, and his buddy, jonah. they look rock'n in their shades, eh?

Ha! I love it. Oh yeah... I have a knitting blog. I started it about a month ago, but haven't told *anyone* about it, because I knew Tim would think it was dorky and thought, "would anyone really want to read about my knitting stuff?" But, there you go. I'm a dork. And since I started it, I've become even more entranced with knitting and yarn--basically all it does is feed my addiction. Bad? Maybe. Fun? Yes.

Oh, and also, if you don't want me to link to your blog from mine, it's cool. Just let me know, yo.

I think you *should* write about letterpress. Who knows, there may even be some letterpress groups out there! Ha.
