the great room (+ sun room)

we set out to make the great and sun rooms flow into one another since they basically wrap around the kitchen. here are some really unplanned before/afters:

the husband and dad taking off the paper part of the wallpaper (the vinyl paper has already been removed). steam, steam, steam!



a shot of the great room into the hallway. that paint seriously needed to go. as well as the wallpaper that was in there.




the room after paint/before new carpet. vacuuming.




the sun room after paint. boy. didn't really do a great job getting all the before shots. need to get from parents. love the way the light hits the jumper.



hubs twin bro getting dad to wake up. lazy guy. sees the carpet and wants to immediately lay down. just kidding. he had already painted three or four coats of paint in several rooms. it was deserved. :)
