i realized recently that this sweets is going to school. SCHOOL. in less than a month. i'm so in love with this little guy (even on the tough days for the both of us). i love his heart. the things he says can melt mine. he talks about how God loves and protects us (And has sung God is good... & my heart melts, melts melts!). his vocabulary is jumping to more abstract things that surprise me.

i get frustrated when he challenges me when it comes to my authority, but also know that when he says "a soft answer turns away wrath" that truth has been spoken to me and shows me another way to talk to my boy who's growing into a man.
