today has been a good day. i think that i'm going to have a sinus cold soon, but my spirits are pretty lifted high. i am glad that the sun is out, its a mild winter, and the husband's truck is working well. unfortunately- it looks like each trip to-fro work guzzles up about a 1/4 tank of gas. it is highly annoying and worrysome because i doubt that i'll get home without getting a fill-up (and it's not new jersey so i'll be pumpin' my own gas, thank you!).
this weekend should be a good time. i'm a little nervouse- but i'll be doing a skiing race with my co-workers for kids with special needs. i think that one of them should be on our team, and i think that will be cool. it sounds like it will be a time of laughter and getting to know one another. team building, i suppose :) that's always fun. i'm also an alternate- but one of the guys on the team who insists that he is coming, doesn't work for us anymore (he found a different job). i just hope that he does come b/c i don't want to race. ha.
today we might be able to watch a movie at work and eat (free!) pizza. maybe there will even be coke. coke is quite a lovely thing, and i wish that it wasn't bad for you. maybe in heaven. j.k. i think that i would rather have something better than that.. eugh.
