i asked my friend b a little while ago to make a hat for my little dude. she made one for her little man, j and i loved it so much i begged her to make one for mine. today- she gave it to my little man and he looks so cute! here is a photo of the two of them (j and o) looking like twins (our stellar husbands are the ones who are in the background). b and i have had fun watching our little boys grow up (can i say that when they are only just over a year?) and fretting over low weight gain and hitting those milestones. i'm thankful to have a friend like b in my life. she's a treasure! she knows me well enough that when she came into our house yesterday and i had some tear residue in my eyes, on my cheeks, and maybe even my shirt that she said "hey, is everything okay?" and i totally felt fine telling her the honest truth that it is hard to chill out and let my husband serve me. i had just overdone it walking around, cleaning up a bit and getting myself some lunch. the c-section wound is still sort of fresh- so i gotta chill, need to remember that. anyway- it is a good sign when you have a friend who is willing to mention that she notices that you're not on top of your game and she wants to know what's up (i'm assuming she would've done anything to help me out!).thankful for you, b!

Oh, I'm so thankful for you, too! I hope you're getting some good rest today, and that your hubby is waiting on you. :) (And that your little man #2 let you get some sleep last night).
Our kiddos look so cute, don't they? I love having a kid so close in age to yours. It's wonderful to have a friend (you!) to share things with, and fret over things with, and just to be with when things are difficult (and when things are great, too!).
And yes, please let me know if there's anything more I can do for you/big C/O-man/little C, okay? :)
P.S. Is it okay that I stole your photo to put on Ravelry? It's just too cute, and I wanted a photo of the two wearing their hats for my projects page. :)
