i can finally say that spring is here! the tulips that my awesome mom planted for me have started to blossom. here's a photo of the ones that i cut. i love them. i should have remembered that tulips open up like crazy when they've been cut, though and waited until a bit later in the day to bring them in the house. we're having company tonight. not that i mind overly opened tulips. :) ha.
how is spring treating you? my allergies have been crazy, so we had to close up the house and rely on air to cool the place. i find that to be sad because i love the smells of spring and fresh air. hopefully i'll be done with this allergy business soon. no one likes a party pooper and i feel like i'm totally party-pooping on spring.
