potty training
i had no idea that potty training could be so exhausting. many people probably don't opt for the method we chose (3-day potty training), but oh well. #1 is 34 months old and really needs to own up to it. he's done GREAT today. he has been dry all day, and keeping us in the know. we cheated and left the house this morning till nap and all went well. by keeping close to areas with bathrooms, we were able to experience what it would be like for #1 to be out and about and how comfortable he is with telling us his need to use the restroom. being prepared with two pairs of undies and shorts, i was surprised that we didn't need them. we're on the third day, so i'll have to do a write up in a couple months to say "yeah, this worked for us" or "oh boy- it lasted way more than three days." i remember having a lot of accidents (tmi?) growing up, so i'm not really too concerned about mishaps here and there. just trying to avoid them in general. keep praying for patience! i need it!

Yay for Owen! I know what you mean about it being exhausting! Eden's pretty dry at home, but out of the house we hadn't really pushed it. Well, she saw her little friend go potty (and her friend had dora underwear, super cool), so since then she's refused diapers. Nothing like a little peer pressure to get things moving.
She hasn't had any accidents in over a week, so I'm considering her "potty trained". She'll tell me when she needs to go, and she has some super cool disney underwear of her own. :)
Good luck! If the three day method works, then it was worth it, right? :)
