this is #1 going "night-night" for play. he plays with sheets on a regular basis. i find it hilarious. ps. how hideous is this room? wallpaper. yuck.of praying before bed may have gotten a bit *too* routine. in the past, the husband and i have held hands with #1 and prompted a prayer for him. apparently i got a bit repetative (since husband is often at grad school in the evenings) and he's taken over. here's a glimpse of the prayer i heard tonight:
"dear Lord. thank you for today. i love you. thank you for mommy, owen, cooper, daddy, cooper, mommy. and cooper. and owen. owen and cooper go night night. thank you for grandma and grandpa woodby's house, and grandma and grandpa westbrook's house. thank you for baby #3. going night night,.... .. .. i love you. in God's name. Amen"
other things that have been prayed for in the last week: grizzle, and sampson (my in-laws dogs...), random foods like waffles. but mostly the usually family, and going to bed. i've never asked him to pray about going to bed, but it is super cute. i wonder if he'll let me record it so i can keep it for memories. hmmmm... better do it soon! he's so proud of himself when he's done.
love him. and can't wait till he loves HIM.
