quiet

as most people know (parents, at least!) not hearing sounds coming from where your kids are is usually a bad sign. this was definitely true last week when i was trying to discover some good things on the internet (aka mommy minute times!) and i realized i hadn't heard anything for a while. actually, i couldn't fully remember the last time i heard anything.

walked into kid #1's room and the two boys are giggling and rubbbing diaper rash cream on each other. and the train set. and the carpet. i only got a few pictures because i was shaking my head at myself and the lack of watchful eyes on my cute sneaks.

here's kid #2 with the diaper cream in his hair. i'm betting my whole bank account that kid #1 did this since the streaks are in his hair with quite beautiful accuracy.

the fact that they got to have a bath afterward was a huge plus for them, but i made it *not fun* by not really letting them have toys in the tub (that thing in the tub is a too hot water gauge). yeah, i'm real mean and tough.

this kid (#2) has some pretty long hair. the husband and i are thinking about cutting it. the real question is how much should we cut it? agahan.,.. the never ending question.

it took three washes for the kid #2's hair to get de-greased. it was gross. i discovered that love touching my kids hair rather frequently because i kept realizing how slimy his head was. yuck.

note to self. keep an eye on your cutes. :)

Ha - totally something that would happen to us...it did in fact, with markers. And Georgia cutting her own hair. And with a bottle of lotion last night. :)

Funny photos. We have a few like that from days gone by. Cute kids, hand on to them because they tend to grow up. Ours did and I miss them very much.
