we took the Christmas tree down a while ago, but not before i scored this shot with the tree plus the fire. we love our fireplace. i actually think that it makes the house smell delicious. a friend told me yesterday that she thought the house smelled good. i said- we had chicken nuggets? is that what you smell? she replied saying that it smelled like incense. took me till later that evening to place that it was probably the ashes in the fireplace. yum. i think it usually smells like bacon... but i think that is actually wrong. it is just home goodness.
my mom's birthday is Christmas, and my sis had this great idea to make cupcakes. we made some yummy tasting frosting and i went a little crazy decorating them. the pink is shockingly "pink" as well. delicious goodness, though!
here's a super silly shot of the three adult ladies in the family eataing the last couple cupcakes. to which when my husband saw he photo he said "wow, you have a big mouth"duh :)
