for kid #2's birthday, i made some homemade chocolate mousse (a la betty crocker) and it was quite delicious! i was quite pleased with my ability to make it so the eggs didn't curdle or do anything super weird like that. and that i was able to follow instructions. i tend to get discouraged and make a couple of edits, but it was a fairly easy recipe when i took my time to read it accurately.
this is kid #2 trying to blow out his candles. i love that he's suddenly gotten into wearing hats. he's soooo adorable with a hat on! (actually, i love hats on all of the little ones!)happy birthday kid #2. we love you just the way God made you. so blessed.
