love him

a second before i took this shot of my buddy, he had his arm on the floor- as if he was going to climb up! crazy strong is what he looked like. :)

well, last weekend i got to hang out with just kid 3 and myself. it was fantastic. trust me, if you think one kid is hard, when you have more than one healthy kid - it is pure bliss to be taking care of one child at a time. '
he sleeps.
he eats.
he talks.
he smiles
he pretty much stays close to where i put him places (within 4 feet).

things i got to see clearly with one-kid-focused-eyes last weekend:
- tilts his head to one side (i'm claiming he started this last weekend, seriously)
- loves to be held
- knows there should be some bigger little people running around. i think he was looking for them for a while.
- sleeps a fair amount of time
- likes to watch the world moving about him (i'm sure this won't last too much longer)
- sitting for longer periods of time
- fiiiinally getting his top two front teeth (he already has the top two that surround the two front ones)
- will drink from a bottle.
- likes to have funny noises made at him
- loves his daddy
- eats a lot of food
- really. a lot more than i ever realized

it was precious to spend time with my cute buddy. my baby who really is growing way.too.fast. i love him, and am so thankful for the blessing he is in my life. i am so glad that i was chosen to be his mom! (thanks!)
