yeah. i think that i have header-short-attention-span. i was thinking that i might do a monthly rotation, but after valentine's day and all the pink (+ hearts) in the last header, i couldn't wait. the header photo is from one of the spices that my mother in law has apparently kept for safe keeping. i pray she NEVER uses this spice because it expired in april of 75. we're not talking the future here, but the past. i have just cleaned out my cabinet and rid it of all spices that have expired because i've heard they aren't too great after a year. i had several that were about 4 years old. i wrote a list out that says all the ones that i threw away, and i check it when i plan on making a recipe in case i need to buy it. so far from this list i've only bought 3 of the 15 seasonings. i did this a month ago, and i think to myself "hey! i'm saving money!" because that is one month less i have to try to finish the spice.
i'm going to try to spice up my life a bit, as well. i know it's sort of silly saying so since God has already instilled this with the idea that i'm having another kiddo, but i'm including the spice with a dash of discipline. i have a few more freelance projects, and then i have one *huge* personal project (okay, 2) that i want to do. when i get started on those, look forward to a somewhat comical header. i've got it all planned out. hopefully it won't be next year when you see it (again, discipline!).
