the red balloon

we've decorated the bigger kid's room with balloons! i think that he likes 'em. actually, i know he does. they are really cute. though- this morning when he was having a little bit of trouble sleeping and i went to help him out- i realized that the glow from his monitor makes the balloons look creepy. i don't think that they creep him out, but i pretended that was one of a couple reasons why he wasn't asleep when he should have been.

the grandparents (my parents) came this weekend, and it was so nice to be able to relax as a mom and do date things. i know that it will get even more difficult after next month! i can't believe that i'm pretty much a month away from my due date. the kid feels like it's more ready to come than the previous one did, so we'll see what God has in store for this delivery story! as long as the baby and i are healthy, i'm obviously happy. we have a super sweet double stroller now, too. i can't wait for some nice weather. i've decided that global warming is 1/2way relative. :) ha ha. anyway- i miss walking outside, and i know the big kid is missing it, too. i hope he'll start walking soon! it would make for fun trips to places (and maybe i'll be running after him, but we'll see what i think about that after it starts to happen!).
