smart move

it has definitely been worth it teaching this little handsome fellow how to smile. even when i just pull out the camera, he'll stop what he's doing and smile for me. it's great! well, most of the time. i feel bad when i pull it out with only having intentions to take a photograph of #2. so i change course and take lots of photos (compliments to digital photography! thank you LORD, again for placing me in this era. digital cameras/heat/AC/refrigerators etc.etc). #1 really enjoys helping me get the mail. i'm mostly thankful that he doesn't notice that i keep the *good stuff* and he helps me with the circulars and what-not. he's definitely helping, but not in the way that i think that he wishes he was helping out.

something that is a bummer about this guy is that he's not really into going #2 at the moment. or at least regularly, that is. one thing that is nice is that we have a free pass to not do potty training b/c it is supposedly not a grand idea to try to teach someone that when they don't go regularly. kind of setting up for failure, i suppose. i'm just waiting till i understand the handsome fella a bit more. though i am SO envious of my buddies who have kids who are younger (& older) and are totally in undies. what a life! :) not so much the transition, but the outcome is quite desirable. ha. anyway- we are trying to give this kid fiber, fiber, and oh- more fiber. it is in a LOT of natural foods. like everything. kind of shocks me that the normal person doesn't get enough (including myself!).

lates!

Oh my gosh - O is such a cutie. E doesn't seem too interested in helping me with that task yet.
