still cold

ice on the windows = pretty!

i'm actually not complaining anymore- just marveling at the fact that i can feel cold air rushing into our house because of the frigid temperatures. so weird. here are the pictures i took of the space that we have.... and to let you know that i'm no liar when it comes to cold.

i was cleaning the floors this morning and one of our doors is a bit um, not great, at being a door. if you look at the left panel at the top right, you see white and that is to the outside. not too much of a biggie, but look below that- frost. in my house. seriously- *f*r*o*s*t*! i didn't even know that you could get that anywhere but on your car! (or at least i didn't think about it)

snowy frost is that white stuff between the door and flooring.

i actually feel worse for my mom, though, who has some professional development (code word for: meetings) for school today and her students all have a snow day. stinky, eh?

anyway- i avoided going outside yesterday, and even on wednesday a bit, but i will not succeed today. we NEED groceries real bad, and i will bundle the babes up. i'm totally fine with going out and everything, it's just the concern i have if we get into an accident. then they will get cold. you don't want cuties to be all purple.
